Billing & Usage

Overview

The Billing section shows your current subscription plan, your usage against each plan limit, and lets you update your billing details. Understanding your limits helps you plan ahead and avoid unexpected service interruptions.

Plan Limits

What Counts Toward a Limit

Your plan includes limits on several resources:

Resource What counts
Leads Total lead records in your organization
Contacts Total contact (person) records
WhatsApp Messages Outbound WhatsApp messages sent
SMS Messages Outbound SMS messages sent

Usage is shown as a progress bar on the Billing page. When you approach a limit, a warning badge appears on the relevant section.

What Happens at the Limit

When you reach a limit, the system will prevent you from creating new records of that type until the limit resets or your plan is upgraded. For messages, you will see an error when attempting to send.

Updating Billing Details

Go to Organization Settings → Billing and click Edit Billing Details to update your payment information, billing address, or contact email.

Upgrading Your Plan

If you need higher limits, contact the Straightline team via the Support section. Plan upgrades are applied manually and take effect immediately upon confirmation.

Tips

  • Check your usage at the start of each month, especially for WhatsApp and SMS which reset on a billing cycle.
  • If you are consistently near your lead or contact limit, it may be time to archive old records or upgrade your plan.
  • Keep your billing email up to date so you receive renewal and payment notifications.
